When it came time to evolve our identity, we looked to the history of our own backyard. The Globe Iron Roofing & Corrugating Company was once a fixture of Cincinnati’s industrial landscape—a name synonymous with true craftsmen and elite technicians.
Reclaiming this name was the perfect encapsulation of who we are and where we are going. It honors the “Master Builder” heritage of the 19th century while reflecting our modern capability to handle the most complex, multi-faceted building envelopes in the Midwest. We aren’t just roofing contractors; we are the technical successors to a legacy of iron-clad quality.
From NKU to the Skyline.
Our founder, Henry Mitchell, started this company while attending Northern Kentucky University’s Construction Management program. What began as a local contracting operation quickly evolved through a relentless obsession with “doing it right.”

In 2015, we made a strategic pivot that set us apart from 95% of our competitors: we invested in an in-house sheet metal fabrication shop. By bringing automated press brakes, power shears, and rollers under our roof, we gained total control over the precision, quality, and timeline of every project.
